Family Background

Barby Ingle was born in Bangkok, Thailand, during her parents’ U.S. Army service and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia, near Washington, DC. Alongside siblings Jim Jr., Marby, and Tim, she was raised by devoted military parents (both deceased) who instilled strong work ethic and patriotism. Her mother is buried with honors at Arlington National Cemetery.

Her accomplished siblings include Jim Jr., Vice-Chair of Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors (Bermuda District) and business owner; Marby, HR leader at a charter school for disabled children and owner of an HR company; and Tim, a multi-award-winning animation business owner. All are college graduates, committed Christians, and dedicated to community service.

Barby inherited her parents’ values of faith, self-reliance, and patriotism, believing true freedom comes through Jesus Christ and personal responsibility. “I was raised right… because I was raised right—conservative,” she says. Overcoming a learning disability through specialized education strengthened her resilience and deepened her commitment to America’s founding principles: individual rights, limited government, and the virtues that protect liberty.

Guided by my Christian faith and conservative Republican values—limited government, personal responsibility, election integrity, and defending our God-given freedoms—I’ve dedicated myself to serving Arizona and our nation.

I’m proud to serve as Precinct Committeeman in Pinal County District 5, Arizona GOP State Committeeman, and certified poll observer and worker committed to secure elections. I’m also an auxiliary member of the American Legion, member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and graduate of the 2024 Apache Junction Citizen Leadership Institute.

God has blessed me with over 45 awards for advocating on behalf of patients with rare and chronic conditions. I’ve served on key boards including the Arizona Chronic Care Coalition, AZ Bio, NORD Arizona Rare Disease Advisory Council, Global Genes, and Rare Disease Legislative Advocates, while editing iPain Living Magazine for the International Pain Foundation.

For over 16 years, I’ve testified, drafted bills, and helped pass conservative reforms like SB1162 and SB1469—now law—protecting patient privacy, access to care, and preventing abuse.

After prayer, talks with my husband Ken, family, and Precinct Chairwoman, I’m stepping up to run as a proven conservative Republican for the Arizona House in Legislative District 7, bringing faith, freedom, and a fighter’s spirit for the people.

About Barby Ingle

Barby Ingle and her husband, Ken Taylor, live on a rural Pinal County Island north of Apache Junction, Arizona. Together for over 20 years and married in 2007, they cherish faith, family, and freedom as staunch conservatives. They enjoy Arizona’s warm weather and traveling the state to connect with fellow Arizonans.

A resident since 2003, Barby and Ken have no children of their own due to her chronic conditions but are blessed with seven nephews and one niece.

Barby earned a B.S. in Social Psychology from George Mason University. After graduating in 1994, she founded her own cheerleading and dance training company. Washington State University then hired her as its first spirit program coach, where she led the dance team to the national top 10 and the cheer squad to the top 5.

In September 2002, Barby developed algoneurodystrophy, a rare chronic pain condition that disabled her. After years of perseverance, she began infusion therapy in December 2009—a treatment she continues 3-5 times yearly to manage symptoms and remain active.

Through faith in Jesus Christ, resilience, and love for her country, Barby transformed her challenges into a calling to advocate for patients across Arizona and beyond.
