As you have read, we moved in March 2021 and now Summer time is here! We are finally getting the house to a livable situation. Ken has been doing most of the work himself, hiring out very little of it to save money, but it has not been a time saver for us. And, you all know how we love time saving efforts! I mean, we did go on TLC to share our time saving tips. But in this case, so much work has been needed that we are saving more than $20k by having him take his time and do his magic. So, he is working for his company My Genetic Meds, iPain Foundation, KB Companies (iPain Living Magazine), as a drone pilot, and helping his father and me with our medical stuff. All that is going on as he fixes up the house. He has been holding it all together and its incredible. I know some of you miss our Ken and Barby Show. Maybe we will be in a position in the fall or winter to do some reality segments. In the meantime, I am working on advocacy efforts, iPain Foundation, my health, and have done about 20 media appearances in the first half of 2021. It’s been a lot of efforts but things are returning to a more normal experience for us, but with so much to do as society opens back up again.
We have not been able to do all we want when it comes to staying connected with our humans around the world who we were talking to a lot. We have only been about to reach out to family members and a few friends. It’s interesting how the pandemic shut down society with jobs, life, funds, but also our human connections. Also contributing to a lack of networking and outreach was in the move, losing my emails, contacts, and many files. So, if you think ‘wow, I haven’t heard from Ken and Barby recently’ please send an email and check in, because it probably means we don’t have your contact information any longer. Also, my email was somehow set to delete after 1 month, so it was not keeping anything from March-Mid June. So, as I was reconnecting with some people, it all disappeared. I hope to be back on track now and look forward to doing all I can to reconnect with so many of you.
Hope is True, Barby
