Rid Toxins From Your Life? Have you ever wondered how many toxins are around your environment and how they affect your chronic pain? Toxins are antigenic poisons or are of plant or animal origin venom.
A toxin is mainly produced by or derived from microorganisms. It causes disease even when present in low amounts. Toxins are a poisonous substance. They are found in living organisms with metabolic activity.
When put into products we use as humans, they can be unstable, notably toxic, and typically capable of inducing antibody formation. Toxins are both physically and mentally found in our life. They can be in our food, water, cookware, technology, home, environment, personal care items, and even emotional/ thoughts and actions. Some toxins are natural. This means that other organisms produce the toxins by their very nature. This can harm humans when ingested. Other toxins are chemical, have a diverse construction, and differ in biological functions and toxicity.
Emotional-Mental Toxins
You have experienced toxic emotions throughout life. These include anger, frustration, fear, guilt, bitterness, resentment, and sadness, negatively affecting your well-being. When not dealt with, toxic emotions can cause mental and physical illnesses. The anger that builds up can lead you to do or say things you regret later.
Toxin emotions can happen through not having enough boundaries set in your life, having negative feelings, and telling yourself of others telling you unloving words. When we do not take care of our mental and emotional health, we deplete ourselves of positive emotions, overthink, and have unhealthy relationships. This causes an increase in stress and worry and begins to affect us physically.
There are ways to improve your emotional-mental health and remove these toxins from your life. Start by acknowledging your feelings about what you are experiencing. Make an intentional physical or mental change to move away from negativity. Secondly, practice stillness. This can be done by sitting in a dark, quiet room and concentrating on breathing. Alternatively, it can be done with meditation, watching a movie, etc. You may want to try doing a creative craft project, improving a life skill, or even working through the trauma alone or with a medical professional.
Food & Water Toxins
Have you ever wondered what could add to your pain in your water and food? I have now tested my water and decided not to use drinking water from the tap in our house. Chemicals are in water, soda, tea, and many foods we eat. Many believe that our FDA helps us keep toxins out of our lives. We must recognize what the toxins are that we should avoid.
These can include artificial sweeteners, sugar, coffee pods, and growth hormones in our meat and milk products. Even single-use coffee cups and plastic lids carry toxins into our bodies. What we drink out of also shows increased health issues that people with chronic pain and other illnesses have with plastic water bottles and aluminum cans.
According to Artificial Color – Jinan Banna Ph.D., RD. Artificial food colorings may cause allergic reactions in some people and hyperactivity in sensitive children. However, most food dyes are found in unhealthy processed foods that should be avoided anyway.
Immune System Toxins
In general, avoid any food or drink that disrupts the functioning of the immune system and increases cellular inflammation. These toxins can also be caused by tea bags, refined salt, and conventionally grown food. In addition, we must be aware of the Methylmercury being found in many fish types sold for human consumption.
What we put our food in can also be challenging to avoid toxins. Aluminum foil, Grilled, broiled, what we fry our foods in, and plastic storage containers can all be issues. The least toxic cookware is non-stick pans and pots, like cast iron, stainless steel, ceramic, glass, and enamel-coated cast iron. These options do not have any Teflon coating on them, making them safe to use.
Society also now uses Pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides more than at any other time in history. According to EPA.gov, Herbicides kill weeds and other plants that grow where they are not wanted. Insect growth regulators disrupt the molting, maturing from pupal stage to adult, or other life processes of insects. The insecticides also kill insects and other arthropods, and the miticides kill mites that feed on plants and animals.
