A 5-day intensive course on creating bills and the process of making them into law. We will work through the process, analysis, and steps needed to be successful with the U.S. legislative process on a state level.
This will include studying formal and informal measures and tools used by legislative bodies in determining policy. The course will be 2 hours per day. Attendees will receive a daily lesson, live Q&A, and resources to succeed in legislation about their state’s legislative contacts and needs.
Each attendee will also be able to ask Barby Ingle, the lead course instructor questions about state-specific legislation through December 31, 2023.
Although topics will be related to pain and rare disease legislation, this would benefit anyone wanting to write bills, get them sponsored, and complete the process to take them into legislative voting to become law in your state.
For all those who have been asking me ‘How do you get a bill passed into law’, this is the course for you! We will be going over the process from start to finish, answering questions, and putting each step from concept to delivery into a course for attendees to do what is needed.
Attendees will have access to ask questions through December 31, 2023. If you want to create changes needed in your state legislation but don’t know where to start or have the resources or knowledge, this is for you!
